On October 21–22, 2025, the 18th International Scientific and Practical Conference “Modern Technologies and Prospects for the Development of Automobile Transport” was held at Vinnytsia National Technical University. It was dedicated to the Day of Automobile Transport and Road Workers. The event was a significant milestone in the university’s scientific life and brought together representatives from leading research schools, enterprises, educational and transport institutions from Ukraine and abroad.
The conference was organized by the Department of Automobiles and Transport Management of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Transport at VNTU. Participants included researchers, faculty, graduate students, and students from various educational institutions, as well as representatives of transport companies and city authorities.
During the conference opening ceremony, VNTU Rector, Professor, and Academician of the Transport Academy of Ukraine Viktor Bilichenko welcomed the participants. He noted the importance of integrating scientific research into Ukraine’s transport sector and the active participation of young scientists in research aimed at improving the efficiency and safety of transport processes.
The conference was held in a warm and constructive atmosphere, serving as a platform for productive dialogue between science, education, and practice. All conference proceedings will be published in a collection of scientific papers, which will contribute to the further development of transport science and the implementation of its achievements in the real sector of the Ukrainian economy.
