Students and teachers of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Transport took part in an international academic mobility project in the Czech Republic.

Vinnytsia National Technical University organized and conducted an international academic mobility project in the form of a scientific school called TechEcoSphere: Sustainable Mechatronic Design Principles for Future Engineers, which won a Visegrad Fund Mini-Grant and took place at the University of the West in Pilsen (Czech Republic) from October 5 to 10, 2025.

VNTU was represented by a team consisting of Alexander Petrov, Vice-Rector for Research and Teaching and Organization of the Educational Process (project manager); Sergey Sukhorukov, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Transport (deputy project manager); students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Transport: Vladislav Glivy (group 1PM-23b), Vladislav Pokherets (2 2PM-22b), Denis Trokhanov (group 2PM-24b), and Alexander Trokhanov (group 2PM-24b); and students of the Faculty of Electric Power Engineering and Electromechanics: Viktoria Lastovka (group ESM-25m) and Oksana Povstyanko (group 2ES). The project would not have been possible without the support of our international colleagues: Milan Belik (University of West Germany) and Andrzej Kociubinski (Lublin University of Technology). Elena Rubanenko, professor at the Department of ESS (VNTU), provided important support in planning and implementing the project.

The project’s program of activities included a comprehensive approach to developing the professional competencies of young engineers.

The TechEcoSphere project demonstrated VNTU’s strong position in the global scientific and educational movement aimed at developing future technologies. Participation in this project not only enhanced the university’s international reputation and integration into the European scientific and educational space, but also enriched the educational process with innovative methods and approaches that are passed on to students and contribute to the development of true 21st-century engineers and innovators.
