On October 10-12, 2023, as part of the plan for holding mass sports events at VNTU, chess competitions were held among students of our university.
26 VNTU students took part in the competition, including 18 first-year students.
To determine the winners and prize-winners, the competition was held according to the Swiss system in 7 rounds with a time control of 30 minutes.
Based on the results of the competition:
1st place for a 1st year student of FIITA gr. 4KN-23 Patik Oleg, in 2nd place Melnichuk Ilya FMIB gr. 1KITS-23, 3rd place with Alexander Valchishen FMT gr. 2PM-21.
