On November 21, 2023, the final defense of projects of the VII season of the startup school “Sikorsky Challenge Vinnytsia” took place. The final event was attended by students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Transport of the Department of Technology and Automation of Mechanical Engineering Nikolai Markevich, Bogdan Vasilishen, Polina Kuzmenko and Arthur Litvin. Scientific supervisors – Doctor of Technical Sciences, Prof. Leonid Kozlov and Ph.D. Oleg Piontkevich.
The established team represented a startup project called EcoWorker. The main idea of the startup project is a development that will make it easier for farmers to work in their gardens. Ecoworker is an innovative vehicle that runs entirely on electric power. This not only reduces the environmental load, but also significantly reduces fuel costs during operation. However, this is not its only advantage. It is very important that it is equipped with a knife lift system, which allows you to effectively lift loads of up to 500 kg and ensures the safe transportation of workers to heights. Its compact size, ease of use and versatility make it an ideal solution for owners of gardens of different sizes, increasing productivity.
