The 1st place in the chess championship among freshmen and sophomores of VNTU was taken by Alexander Valchishen, a student of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Transport.
14 students from different faculties took part in the competitions, which were held according to the Swiss system in 6 rounds. The intrigue lasted until the last minute. But Valentine showed steadfastness and confidently won. Congratulations!
